MYSIA. Kyzikos. Circa 410-390 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 14.91 g, 1 h). ΣΩΤΕΙΡΑ Head of Kore to left, wearing wreath of grain ears, pendant earring, simple necklace and sphendone covered by a veil. Rev. KY-ZI Head of a lion to left, with open jaws and protruding tongue; below, tunny fish to left; behind, head of a stag to left. BMC -. CNG 60 (2002), 677. SNG von Aulock -. Cf. Von Fritze II, 23 (unlisted reverse symbol). Very rare with this symbol. A bold example with a particularly attractive reverse. A few light marks, otherwise, good very fine.
